A wonderful authentic Thai restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. Excellent, freshly made, high quality food. I strongly recommend getting a variety of dishes to share. They are incredibly accommodating for allergies, dietary requirements (e.g. vegan) and your personal dining preferences. We ordered a few different dishes and they were happy to bring them all out together so it was like a wonderful platter. Thai red and green curries are delicious without a doubt, but I'd recommend trying the massaman curry, tom kha (creamy, coconut milk-based) or tom yum soup (broth based) and the tempura. We also got vegan rice crackers which were pretty colours and were served with sweet chili sauce. I normally don't buy crackers but I'm really glad we got them!I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants after coming back from Thailand and liking the food, and this one really hit the spot!I'm very glad we went there, and I can't wait to go again. We got there when it opened at 5:30 on a Tuesday, and by 6:15 it was completely full, so I'd advise going earlier so you can get a table. But once again, it's just a testament to the taste and quality of the food. Don't eat something you've had before— I'd highly recommend you to take the opportunity to try some authentic Thai cuisine!
Staying in Weymouth for an out of season business trip I was a bit stuck for dinner. Mona’s was a very welcome surprise. Fantastic food in a great environment with lovely staff. I will definitely be coming back.
Stopped in for evening meal while staying nearby at Haven Littlesea and loved this place. Food was all delicious, fresh and generous portions. LOVED the vege satay and pineapple fritters! Service was speedy and super friendly too. Thank you 😊
This is the best Thai food that I’ve ever had! The curry with sea bass and the Tom Yum soup was SO good. The chili basil beef as well. Highly recommended!
Absolutely delicious. Small restaurant, and was full when we walked in, so we got takeaway and ate it on a bench overlooking the beach.Ordered a chicken pad Thai and a papaya salad. The salad was very spicy so watch out. Overall sensational!

The food is beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. Authentic Thai food. Best chicken satay and spring rolls had in years. Highly recommend the mixed platter starter. We then had pork red curry and Chu chee sea bass. Both divine.

Surprisingly vegan friendly thai. They can adapt most dishes without fish sauce etc , our penang curries tonight were really goodBack again today (May ) and still excellent, vegan friendly curries are so delicious
The food is phenomenal. The service is exceptional. It’s hands down the best restaurant in Weymouth, Dorset and the World!!!!
Wonderful food. The starter platter for 2 is a real treat especially the prawn toast. Looking forward to our next visit.
We were pleased that we booked Mona’s for the first night of our holiday. The place is quite small and cosy, so I’d say booking is advisable. Unfortunately they turned away some people because they were full … a good sign for those of us lucky to have a table (in that it appears to be very popular). The staff were very friendly and got a beer to my table quickly while I waited for the others in my party to arrive. I recommend a large Singha to get the party started. There were 4 of us. We had starters and main. I thought the vegetable tempura starter perhaps could have had the batter a tiny bit crisper and cooked a little longer. Overall, my brother’s verdict was “delicious” and I agreed. I had a red curry for my main. They gave me a choice of mild or spicy, and I chose spicy. What I enjoyed was that the sauce was full of flavour and the heat built over time. The sticky rice came in a little bamboo holder, which kept it nice and hot.This was a great idea meaning you could serve yourself the rice in small portions over the course of the meal, and each time it was a good temperature. All in all, an enjoyable dining experience. Thank you Mona and Co.
