Staying at haven littlesea and wanted fish & chips so thought we'd give this establishment a try, I'm glad we did! Hot and nice food. Nothing to complain about. The chips were light and fluffy and the fish was crispy and tasty. Delivery was fast too!

Fabulous service the staff were so friendly and helpful, they even let me try the curry sauce before I bought it.Great tasting chips and huge portions too.Definitely recommend a visit to Daniels

First visit last Wednesday as we'd just arrived on holiday and didn't fancy cooking.We had, Pie, Burger and Fish and Chips, all piping hot and delicious food, it was busy but the food came quickly and the staff were chatty and friendly, the chef worked hard and did himself proud!Second visit tonight, 3 burgers and fish and chips, and once again the food was 'outstanding' as my dad would say!It was very busy in Daniels tonight, but the food was ready before we knew it!The same friendly young man who served us was on duty again and the same chef. Brilliant job again guys, we'll be back and when we send friends down this way we will let them know where to get a great takeaway!
The freshest food provided by friendly staff. Great tasting fish, perfect chips. Always recommend Daniels when asked which is our favourite takeaway.
Every time we order chips from Daniel’s it is of the highest quality and always quickly made. The haddock is sublime!

We travel in from Bristol most weekends as we have a caravan at Pebble Bank. It’s the best fish & chips ever… great service, especially Diamond who is very knowledgeable and is always recommending new food to try.
3 lads and fryer working Sat 16.11.2024 were great. One young chap overheard our conversation and began upselling items - good on him! Great food, great staff, can’t beat a Daniels. Looking forward to trying the battered pig in blanket!!

Best chippy around with amazing hospitality .Fish was very light and crispy , chips were golden and fluffy and the curry sauce was sensational :) yum yum
Great food, proper tasty chips, we were made some gluten free batter on request, homemade batter was delicious. Haddock was huge! Highly recommend.

Great set up, easy to order, run like a well oiled machine, super friendly staff. Food was amazing, great tasting fish in a crispy batter, well cooked chips and good value.
I go here a lot and it is usually spot on but today oh dear we were taking it to eat by the sea and we got there fish was greasy, the chips were clumped together not in a grease proof square so the paper was stuck to the surface of all the chips asked for salt and vinegar I could taste none on either the fish or chips for the cost which is high twice what I pay in Norfolk for fresh fish and chips it was of a low standard this time
The food is always good quality, tasty, good value for money. The staff in all 3 Daniels Fish and Chip shops in my local area all have good hard working staff. That all seem to be very well organised. Have extremely good people skills. Which is a big bonus. I frequently go to the shop at Chickerell in Weymouth. Long may there continue to be a Daniels Fish and Chip shop it's the best
Ordered by phone for pick-up at 6:30. Arrived on time but order was only prepared once we'd paid and it took several prompts before they would do it. Cook was giving instructions to the counter staff that an unmarked box contained a cheeseburger, and the other unmarked contained a burger. How, with the pressure they were under, they were expected to remember that is beyond me, especially since the container was cardboard. Had the cook never heard of a pen? Chips were dry, ssusage in the 'battered sausage' may have had a meet-up with batter in the dim and distant past but it obviously hadn't lasted. Still charged us for the batter though. Fish was very good but service and issues with the other food means we won't use again.
Staying in Weymouth and ordered online. Easy process from order too collection. Tasty fish and chips

We have waited over 35 minutes and still no food , need a better system with people ordering and in store and till service , feel like asking for my money back , I know it gets busy but this is not good
I won't be returning .I never known a chip shop in Weymouth where I have had to wait so long.Terrible
Absolutely useless young kids working in shop, asked for curry and didn't get it. Also asked for gravy and got another mushy peas. How hard is it to get an order right. Never going back, also messing around at front of till making fun of people in back. Order 19862.
Huge portions, too big actually...it would be nice to be able to order a half portion.Quite greasy and they forgot to add our salt and vinegar but to be fair they were very busy.
The food was good but the service was very bad. Not sure why we waited and people after us got their food before us. The chef even asked other customers what they needed but not even acknowledged us. When you asked their was not apologies the person said I quoted " 104 will do it in a minute and turned to her colleague and said do 104". All paid customers should be treated the same. Is it because of our skin colour....
The staff are always friendly but as other reviews have stated, it has really gone down hill lately. The portion sizes are tiny for the price. And it doesn’t taste as nice anymore.
Total rip off we just paid £5 for a large bag of chips and got about ten chips.It’s not always bad but it’s completely hit and miss on portion sizes so it’s not a good idea to go here.As a food establishment selling different size options you MUST have uniform portion sizes or you are ripping people off charging them more for large when they get less than they would for small.Train your staff
My partner ordered some food for us. The mushroom and chicken pie had a weird taste to it couldn't finish it. My savaloy had a disgusting after taste and was like chewing a tire. The one bite I took out of the savaloy I had to spit out in the bin.I'm left starving and had to eat leftovers in my fridge as I don't want to try anything else. Only thing I'm able to consume from this order is the banana milkshake which was ok. Definitely will not ever order again absolutely horrible experience leaving me starving with a nasty taste in my mouth.
Late arrival staying at Chickerell. Notbthe cheapest but I have to say the best pieces of haddock we ever had. Hessle fish shop up North has been the benchmark for us. The piece was battered perfectly not greasy and fish flaked as it should be. That was a total surprise. Chip portions huge wish we only ordered one. Good find for sure.
