Amazing people and really good food. Would recommend to anyone in the area! Thank you to the team
Service was super friendly just the food took 30 minutes to get to us.The atmosphere is great and quiet. The food quality wasn’t great. I got the carbonara and the pasta was over cooked and the garlic bread wasn’t even cooked and was really gross.Definitely overpriced for what you’re getting.
Staff were lovely, but it did take 20 minutes to receive drinks and 45 for food in a nearly empty cafe. Wonderful secluded feeling outdoors seating area that was quiet.Food was not great, you could tell the garlic bread had been defrosted and served immediately and wrap was stale. Not a bad place to go but expensive for what it is
The cafe looked very shabby and in need of decorating. It was dirty with noticeable dirt on floors. The whole place looked grubby. We ordered 3 breakfasts and waited ages. When the food arrived it was OK, average cafe food. There was a large sheet rolled up with stuff inside on table next to us. Looked like dirty laundry. I wouldn't return or recommend.I'm adding to my review. I do not know the owner or anyone who works here. I was very polite. I was not rude to anyone. My review is my opinion. My husband is disabled and poorly and to mention his weight is out of order. We did wait ages for our food and there was no apology.
Me and my partner tried the Palm House today for the first time, as it’s pancake day today we both had the Hazelnut Happiness American Pancakes. AMAZING! Honestly the best pancakes we have ever had, they’re made from scratch in front of you and are so fresh and fluffy. They are incredibly generous with their toppings and the drizzled chocolate was delicious. We sat outside which was lovely on a sunny day as their garden overlooks the swannery. Lovely friendly staff and gorgeous food. They also have both a gluten free and vegan pancake menu, so cater for everyone. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
We had a nice hour playing in the kids' play area with our 14 month old.Lots of great toys and things to climb on interact with. The hot choc was very tasty and so was the home made choc cookies.
