Staying just up the road at seaview for four nights -Had cod n chips on arrival - so nice just had same again on my fourth night 😋😋Proper portions - very , very tasty and service was excellent ,and the two young ladys that served me were very polite -Would definitely recommend a visit
What a waste of 26 quid had cod and chips x2, chips were dry and fish not cooked properly shop ran by kidsThe chipper just around the corner is soo much better and cheaper just a shame he was closedWill not use again EVER
Placed our order via the app and collected. The food and service were perfect in every way.
Superb fish and chips, scampi, mozzarella sticks and mushy peas. Prices as expected, friendly service.
Great service and was delighted it was delivered a bit earlier than expected it was cooked to perfection and was nice and hot when it arrived.
Best fish & chips I’ve had in a long time. Chips cooked perfectly with a meaty fillet of cod in a golden batter, great portion sizes too.
What can i say i ordered my food and was delivered before the estimated time on just eat and what a lovely delivery driver service with a huge smile hope she gets recognised for that so polite and lovely and the food was absolutely beautiful and hot and generous portions will be back again soon 😊
Awful chips!more like crisp!I rang to say they were awful to be told that's how we do our chips??They were so cooked like cut into your mouth!!will not be using this place again .such a shame as local.
Lovely Fish and Chips, Burgers also 1st Class. Straceys really stepped up to the mark at very short notice for about 60 of us when another “local Business” let us down at the last moment. They are lovely people serving great food - Thank YouMick & Brenda B-P
Fish and chips takeaway was pre-ordered and packaging was just being finalised when I arrived at set time to pick up. Portion sizes including fish were good and had been cooked well with excellent batter. Flavour was also very good.
Straceys catered at short notice for an event we attended. 50+ people. The food was really good. Delivered hot and tasty. No problem in recommending this shop.
Have been using Stacey’s for a few years and never disappointed. Yesterday 70+ people at a private function were served excellent meals within 20-30 min. All piping hot and delicious. My cod and chips was the best! Many thanks for making a great evening.

Tried the Hoki as an alternative, wow, lovely piece of fish and battered perfectly, chips great as well. Staff all friendly and welcoming.
Having a short break at Haven Seaview we fancied a nice fish and chip tea/supper. Looked at the reviews of the nearest chippies to our site and Stacey's stood out in comparison to others. Ok parking wasn't easy on nearby roads but it was well worth the effort. The shop is very clean (as expected but not always so), the staff are very friendly and efficient and a fair price too. Our cod and chips, on returning to the sire, looked beautiful, lovely colour and not greasy at all. The fish was nice, batter crisp and perfectly cooked, and the chips were about the best I've had from a chipshop in many years. Must not forget the curry sauce, my partner always pours it over her fish, I dip my chips in it. For the connoisseurs out there, the curry sauce is amazing. Don't listen to the one bad review, our portionswere plentiful. Many thanks and I will make sure to return next time I am down here.
Had fish and chips and mushy peas from you on Saturday. The best fish and chips I had in a long time would recommend to anyone stay at seaview holiday park nextdoor. returned again last night again top quality food and great sevice
One of the best fish and chip shops in Weymouth. Had twice in a week and the level of consistency is amazing. Fish and chips were such high quality and fried perfectly by Sam. The proof is, I have one on my holiday park, but I choose to use Stracey's
We were staying at a local Haven holiday park right on the doorstep of this chippy and after hearing good things decided to give it a try! 2 adults, six children and we all loved it! We come from a seaside town and are very fussy with our fish and chips and this place was perfect. Very happy. Would definitely order again if we come back on another holiday. Thank you for a lovely meal.
This is a really lovely, friendly fish & chip shop & we very much enjoyed our family dinner from there! The batter is very crisp, not oily, and our pieces of Cod were a really great size. Lovely chips too with more than enough for our family of 8 & everyone loved the curry sauce!Thank you for a delicious meal for the first night of our holiday.
Damn good fish and chips.OK, a lot of my reviews are for fish and chip shops, and most of the time I say they're good, but these were great. Chips were crunchy (which we like) and well seasoned. Good size of cod and haddock. Battered sausage was a bit small, but still lovely.
Left feeling hungry!....for nearly £30, the portions were not acceptable. A medium chips £3.30 barely enough for one portion, a "lite bites' scampi and chips had more chips than the medium portion ordered?? 2 x small cod priced at £14.40 for both, again underwhelming in size and texture, the batter was nice and light though. The £1.20 bread roll ordered came just as described....as a dry bread roll, no option of butter. The overall taste experience was good just needed appropriate portion sizing for the price. Overall quite disappointing! The curry sauce was however very nice. I have to apologise for giving this 3 star review as I know all businesses need support but it just wasn't worth the money spent.
